IX. File Formats

The ﬁ le formats that this device can handle are too numerable to list. The pre-installed

apps should allow you to view many Microsoft Ofﬁ ce ﬁ le formats, including Word,

Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as many eReader ﬁ le types, and music and video ﬁ le

types.

Most ﬁ les should work, but not all ﬁ les are encoded the same. For example, some

MPEG4 ﬁ les will work but others may not, depending on how they were encoded and

compressed

NOTE: The Android OS handles many file formats automatically,

but 3rd party apps may be required to open other files types.
